Tall Corner Cabinet - Victorian Pine - c1850
This original Victorian cabinet is in excellent order and is gorgeously styled.
The piece is impressive at 219cm (7' 2") tall and very solidly crafted.
There is a working lock and key, and to the outside a shield shaped lock escutcheon. The doors are very solid and are a full inch and a half thick (40mm).
The upper cabinet is completed with a splendid Gothic Arch detail to the crown moulding.
At the lower cabinet a reversed mirror image field panel door opens to another pair of shelves. This door has matching lock plate.
Overall a really super example offering excellent display and storage opportunity. There is terrific warmth to the piece and it displays great charm.
