London Fine Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
This Elm seated Windsor chair is a pleasing classic shape and is presented in good condition.

The broad top rail is supported by nicely swept outer risers which terminate in a desirable turned bobbin.
The Elm seat plate and arm rests display the grain and beauty of the wood superbly. The laths and turned parts are in beech.

The chair rides upon double turned legs which are united by a single 'H' stretcher for robustness and durability.
This chair will make a charming addition to any home and is a nice example of this classic design. The chair is very comfortable and solid throughout.
