Elm Rocking Chair - Superb Example - c1850
This is a splendid rocking chair crafted from gorgeous Elm. The piece displays lovely colour and elm grain.
It is in great order and is a strong and solid example. The robust look of the chair with its' sturdy turned parts and wide back stays makes for a very pleasing chair.
The chair benefits from not being too large in size - often rocking chairs can dominate a great deal of room space, however this chair has controlled proportions and therefore is suitable for any location.
