Description

A really charming little ring or pin dish, the centre created from a decorative piece of antique Tortoise Shell with a wonderfully lustrous patina showcasing the markings and colours ranging from golden Champagne to rich chocolate brown.

The surround is created from cast sterling silver incorporating some little cherub or putti like figures, all pierced or reticulated. The silver bears the hallmark for Birmingham 1892, a true Victorian example. The dish stands on three original legs.

Excellent condition, measuring 3 3/4" in diameter.
