Description

A quality Georgian Regency period bracket clock. A rich mahogany case with brass inlays. Fishscale side sound fretwork and handles. A chamfer top with brass inlay and surmounted by a brass pineapple finial. A convex glass and dial signed 'Thwaites & Reed, London'. A twin fusee mechanism striking the hours on a bell. Circa 1820.

Thwaites and Reed of London are well known makers and suppliers of fusee mechanisms.
