Description

A quite exceptional antique English inkwell, made from a hefty piece of clear glass with stunning swirls wrapped around the body of the inkwell terminating at a circular star-cut base ... stunning in every way.

The collar and hinged lid are made from sterling silver, hallmarked for Birmingham 1912 together with the makers mark for the top quality silversmith, William Hutton.

The inside houses a removable glass liner for ease of filling and cleaning, very usable today.

A wonderful desk top accessory to please for decades to come. Excellent undamaged condition, measuring 4" in diameter x 3 3/4" tall.
