Antique English Sterling Silver Visiting Card Case - 1906

Description

A handsome Edwardian sterling silver card case, beautifully shaped and made from sterling silver with a hallmark for Birmingham 1906; the makers initials are also present, J & C for the silversmith, Jones & Crompton.

The lid is unusual as it has a sprung mechanism, and once opened reveals the crisp hallmark.

The case is beautifully decorated and the front has a vacant cartouche which could be engraved with initials by your local silversmith, should you with to personalize it.

A super piece in excellent condition, measuring 3 7/8" x 2 3/4".
