Description

A wonderfully pretty vanity or dressing table jar made from cut glass in the ever-popular hobnail design with a star-cut base.

The sterling silver top fits perfectly with the most charming winged Cherub with bow & arrows standing in a garden with an engraved stone wall background.

The silver has a full English hallmark for the highly collectible Chester assay office and the year 1905. There is also a design registration number 451183, also for the year 1905, a true Edwardian example. The makers initials CC are also present.

Excellent condition, measuring 2 7/8" tall with a lid diameter measuring 2 5/8".
