Outstanding Omega heavy solid 9ct gold gents wristwatch c1958-59.
The watch is the very popular calibre 269 17 jewels movement, as you can see it is in fabulous like new condition.
It is also rare in as much as it has a black dial and not the ivory coloured dials usually seen on the majority of Omega watches.
The dial and hands are in perfect condition with gilt hands and baton markers. A new glass has been fitted and the case professionally cleaned and polished so it is absolutely prestine.
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case and it has the Omega logo on the crown.
The case is fully hallmarked dating this watch to 1958/59, a perfect gidt for a msn especially one born in these years.
It comes complete with a new premium quality black leather strap and a presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition. If you prefer a chestnut brown leather or extra long strap this can be fitted.
Omega are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.
The watch case measures 34mm in diameter not including the crown.
Overall this watch is in outstanding near mint condition, it looks as if it was rarely worn, it would make the perfect gift for any man.
The watch has just been fully overhauled and serviced by the highly respected watch specialist Simon Batchelor FBHI. It has been fully authenticated and found to be a genuine Omega in all respects. This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under high magnification for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then throughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultasonic cleaning process.
The watch movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. the cases are polished and the watch sealed, in the case of waterproof watches a full waterproof presure test is carried out to manufacturers specification.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many many years.
The watch movement comes with a full 1 year warranty.
