Set of Four Regency Dining Chairs - Solid Rosewood - c1830
A beautifully presented and unusual set of rosewood dining chairs.
This set dates from late Regency/early William lV period c1830.
These chairs benefit from a wonderfully light look due to the delicate turning to the front legs and the turned out tapered feet. The rear sabre leg completes the design.
The set is in superb condition throughout. The seats are covered in a quality textile in very good order. As the seat base is of drop-in type it would be straightforward to re-cover if desired.
The chairs show all the signs of quality that one would expect and the rosewood graining is excellent.
Overall a splendid and rare set of chairs that will be perfect to add to any collection.
