George III Style Fiddle Back Mahogany Breakfront Bookcase

1900 - 1920
Description

A stunning quality mahogany George III Style fiddle back mahogany breakfront bookcase, the upper section having a satinwood dentil cornice with carved tear drops, above four astragal glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelving. The lower section having three fitted frieze drawers which are velour lined and have brass handles, above four book slides. The base having four wonderfully flame veneered cupboard doors, the centre doors enclosing removable sliding trays with shelving to each end, the whole supported on a plinth base circa 1920-1930

Dimensions: 81.5" high x 68" wide x 19" deep

Condition: This bookcase is in excellent condition, fully cleaned and waxed
