Description

This fabulous Salt-Bag has silk highlights throughout and was quite possibly made for an important, high ranking person within the tribe such as a tribal chief. The bag was made by Timuri tribes in western Afghanistan around 1920 and is in absolutely mint condition. I have never come across such a special bag - particularly one with so much silk! Obviously, a highly-prized possession.
