Description

A stunning little jewellery box made from English sterling silver with four integral bracket feet.

A good solid box and a beautiful shape the box has a hinged lid inset with a stunning piece of antique Tortoiseshell inset with an intricate silver pique, a lovely design incorporating a figural face to the bottom and a shell to the top.

The box retains its original silk interior and still remaining in good condition. The box bears a full English hallmark, for Birmingham 1917 together with the makers initials HM for the well renowned silversmith, Henry Matthews.

A charming and pretty box in excellent condition. 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 1 5/8" tall.
