Description

This charming and romantic little box is like a gem, created from a thick piece of heavily cut crystal and topped with sterling silver, with the prettiest repousse decoration surrounding a central vacant cartouche.

The side of the silver lid is where the hallmark can be found for Birmingham 1897, making this a true Victorian example. The makers initials are also present for the well renowned silversmith, Levi & Salaman.

Excellent condition, measuring 1 5/8" x 1 5/8" x 1 1/4" tall.
