Description

As decorative as they come, this wonderfully decorative silver plated salver or tray, circular in shape with scalloped edges and a pierced or reticulated border, quite stunning. The salver is also engraved on the base surrounding a vacant cartouche.

The tray stands on three highly decorative cast feet and the underside bears the highly sought-after design registration diamond shaped lozenge, which allows us to date the registration of this design to October 16th 1846, a good early Victorian example.

Pretty as a picture in excellent condition, measuring 13" in diameter.
