Oak Bow Chair - Superb Condition - c1910
The solid oak construction offers grain which displays excellently and the piece is a great colour throughout.
The chair is solid and naturally a very comfortable place to sit. The robust arms, which are one with the back hoop, provide a very sturdy support and make it easy to get in and out of the seat.
The turned legs are co-joined with double side rail stretchers on all four sides to provide maximum stability.
To the rear of the wide back support at the top of the bow there is a crescent shaped hand hold which has a very attractive Art Nouveau design impressed to form a border.
This chair will make a lovely addition to any setting.
