This is the Tudor Royal model which has a solid 9ct yellow gold case and is fitted to a beautiful design solid 9ct gold bracelet.
It is quite stunning with a champagne coloured dial which has a sub second dial and is in perfect unmarked condition. It has had a new glass fitted and been professionally cleaned and polished so it is absolutely prestine.
The movement is an absolute gem, sparkling clean and in like new condition, this is a movement from the golden age of swiss watchmaking.
As you would expect from Rolex the watch is fully marked on the dial as Tudor Royal, movement and case, the bracelet and case are fully hallmarked and dates this to 1958-59.
It comes complete with a new presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition.
Rolex are one of the most exclusive makers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance which resonates class.
The watch case is large measuring 20mm in diameter not including the crown.
It is very long fitting a maximum wrist size of 7.75" but it can easily be reduced by removing some links and can be done by any competent jeweler. It has a double safety clasp for added security.
Overall this watch is in beautiful condition and looks as if it was hardly ever worn, it would certainly make a perfect gift especially for a lady born in 1958 or 1959.
The watch has just been fully overhauled, restored and serviced and is guaranteed to be a genuine Rolex in all respects.
This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled by the respected watch specialist Simon Batchelor FBHI, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then throughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
