Unusual Antique English Sterling Silver Topped Heart Perfume Bottle - 1908

Description

A wonderful bottle, I haven't actually seen this one before, in the form of a heart created from hobnail cut glass.

The hinged sterling silver top is beautifully decorated with and repousse and engraved design, topped with a large vacant cartouche. The silver is hallmarked for London 1908, making this a true Edwardian example.

The original glass stopper is intact to stop the evaporation of the precious contents.

Excellent condition, measuring 5" tall.
