Oak Open Bookcase - Three Adjustable Shelves - c1920

This Oak bookcase is excellently presented.

A spacious bookcase with a pair of adjustable/removable shelves.

The bookcase is pleasingly detailed with half-moon stepped feet and rebated shelf edging. To the upper there is a plain top surface with moulding detail to the edge and a rear up-stand which carries an attractive feature carving depicting a mounted flower in bloom.

A carved front edge runs across the upper. The oak is pleasingly coloured and displays the grain well.

Overall this is a nice item of functional furniture that is in very good order throughout.
