Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1880s.

The two tureens each stand on attractive ball and claw feet. The domed lids are both engraved with a decorative monogram, once removed the interiors are revealed with a lavish gilded finish. These usually come without ladles but my silversmith was able to find me two period examples perfectly suited to this piece, each again with a monogram on the end, obviously not matching the one on the lid as they didn't start life together, the bowls of the ladles are too washed in gold.

The entire piece is decorated with shell motifs from the handsome carrying handle to the tureen rims.
Excellent condition, dating to the Victorian era, around 1880. Each tureen measures 7" x 5" maximum across the rim, the pair 10" across x 8 3/4" tall to top of handle.
