London Fine Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
This mahogany standard lamp is superbly presented.

A stepped square base provides excellent stability and leads on to a highly attractive carved lower column offering gorgeous detailing and superb colour. At the widest point this is 8" diameter.
The central pole is large in section and tapers to meet the upper carving which in turn leads to the fitting.

The lamp benefits from a standard lamp fitting, which accepts the most common bayonet type household bulb, and has a regular lamp shade frame attachment. All standard shades will fit the piece. The lamp is complete with the quality shade seen in the images.

The lamp is re-wired, tested and supplied with a generous length cable and plug ready to use.
Overall this piece of furniture is in exceptional condition with fine colour. This piece would look magnificent in a private home but is equally suitable for a commercial environment.

An excellent and unusual antique, beautifully detailed and very desirable.
