Pair Antique Corinthian Column Three Light Candelabra by John Round & Son C.1880

Description

A wonderful pair of Victorian silver plated Corinthian style having fluted columns and beaded trim to the square bases, complimenting the beaded trim on the drip trays.

Look closely to see the swag detailing below the central light, an elegant flourish to this timeless and elegant design.

The arms are of course removable as are the drip pans for easy cleaning, this then leaves you with a very elegant pair of column candlesticks for a less formal occasion.

Each of the bases is marked for the well renowned silversmith, John Round & Son of Sheffield, together with their trademark, All The Round within a circle.

Dating to around 1880, they remain in excellent condition, with a few tiny insignificant dings. The bases measure 4 1/2", standing 12 1/4" tall as a candelabra; as a column candlestick, they stand 7 3/4" tall.
