The thermometer with a silvered brass scale calibrated from 30º to 110º Fahrenheit and from 5º to 35º Reaumur, contained within a mahogany moulded surround with a bowed glass. The superbly made mahogany case of excellent workmanship with figured veneers to the bowed front and a bowed glass to the main scale with cushion moulding above.
