Description

A fine example of a Victorian oil lamp with an opaque glass shade,having a green tinge and fluted edge.

This lamp has a tall hand cut and polished marble stem in combination with a solid brass square base.

The condition is excellent and finding one similar would prove hard.

The Measurements are 26 Inches in Height and the base is 5 Inches Square.

Today you can buy odourless and smokeless lamp oil.

Also you can add various coloured dyes to the oil so that the clear glass body looks more attractive.
