Description

A really charming figural baby's rattle made from English sterling silver with a hallmark for Birmingham 1906, making this an Edwardian example. The makers initials S&Co. are also present for the silversmith, Sydney & Co.

The rattle is in the form of a child's head, identical on both sides. There are six bells attached attached and the handle made from a bright iridescent piece of Mother of Pearl or Nacre Shell.

As charming as they come in excellent condition, measuring 5 1/4" in length.
