A beautiful late Victorian example of a sterling silver card case in super condition with a very tactile all-over repousse or embossed decoration; there is a domed vacant cartouche to the front.

The hinged lid opens to reveal the full English hallmark for the highly sought-after Chester assay office and the year 1900. The makers initials,W.N for the silversmith William Neale.

Excellent condition, measuring 3 3/4" x 2 1/2".
