Description

The most fabulous large late Victorian serving tray, as good as they get and rarely found. This solid and heavy tray has an all-around pierced or reticulated gallery with cut-out handles each end, and the base having the most stunning hand-engraving.

The underside is marked with the the maker's initials G & S for the London silversmith, GOODFELLOW & SONS. Also marked EP for Electo-Plate.

A really fabulous piece in superb condition (due to the tray shape it doesn't 100% lay flat - insignificant & mentioned purely for accuracy, see last photograph). 24 1/2" x 17"
