A high quality 8 day rosewood Viennese regulator of small proportions by Anton List.

Beautifully matched rosewood veneers used throughout the case, inlaid with boxwood stringing.

Original glazing to the front and sides.

The original finely carved pediment and matching carved finial to the base.

5" one piece enamel dial with the makers name "Anton List in Wien" signed in fine original calligraphy to the dial centre.

Beautifully cast, piecrust bezel.

Very fine and delicate blued steel hands

Superb quality 8 day "hook on" regulator time piece movement, with sliding beat adjustment.

Brass faced, to both sides, pendulum bob with ebonised rod.

Small proportioned brass cased weight and spoke pulley.

A very fine and rare clock, in excellent original condition.

Anton List - Appraisor for the court. Lived in the city if Vienna Neuen Markt 1057. Master in 1828. Registered in 1858.
