Games Table - James Shoolbred London - c1900
This folding card table is presented in excellent order.
The table rides upon turned legs which are unified by a pleasing bobbin railed I-stretcher providing both interest and stability.
The table top turns through a quarter turn to reveal a storage compartment. In the open position the table presents chip storage depressions at each corner.
The table is of good craftsmanship and bears the label of James Shoolbred, London. The mahogany is presented in excellent order and delivers consistent quality colour throughout.
Overall this piece of furniture is in very good condition. The table is well constructed and very solid.
A wonderful games playing table and a good example of the type.
