Description

This very pretty forged iron bed is an ideal antique bed for a fashionable vintage retro style bedroom. Hand painted distressed cream with the lovely floral central motif. The brass knobs have been polished and can either be maintained with brasso or left to develop an aged patina; either way they to complement the whole feel of this very pretty bedstead that will take a 5' x 6'6" mattress; English king size. These styles of bed originated from Portugal.

We can supply wood slats within the price or if preferred for the quality mattress (we can supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices) a 2" platform mini box base.
