Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1900s.
They focus wonderfully and adjust to fit comfortably across the bride of the nose, there are also integral brass sun shades to reduce glare in bright light and sunshine. There are also eye shields that swivel across to the outside when in use and swivel back to the centre for packing away in the case.
They come complete with a really wonderful brown leather carrying case with the inside of the lid being signed Ross / Manufacturing Optician / Clapham Common / London.
Excellent condition measuring 5 1/4" wide x 6" tall extending to 7 1/4". The case measures 8 3/4" tall x 6" wide. The optics are in perfect working order.
