Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The oak case has a wonderful mellow colour and patina and the grain really does shine through.

The weight driven movement has just been professionally serviced and is in perfect running condition so you can be assured that this clock will give trouble free service for many years to come. It runs for a full 8 days and strikes on the hours and half hours and is keeping accurate time to within 10 seconds a day.

This is a top quality movement with a deadbeat escapement and maintaining power, features you will only find in the very best regulators.
The clock comes with its original dial, pendulum and glass.
Overall this is an outstanding clock in superb condition and was obviously made by a premier German clockmaker although I am unable to identify the trademark on the back of the movement.

The clock movement comes with a full 12 month warranty.
