Description

A splendid large Edwardian carved wooden chess set complete with Mahogany storage box, having been professionally re-polished.

The black pieces are a combination of turned Ebony and Ebonised Boxwood and the white pieces created from turned and carved Boxwood. They are slightly weighted and a really grand size, a good substantial set to play with, the king measuring 4" or 10cm tall.

Excellent condition with storage box measuring 7 1/4" x 5 3/4" x 3 1/2".
