Charming Artist Stool - Shaped Seat - c1850

Stunning mahogany and beech artist seat presented in super condition.

This lovely painters chair is wonderfully presented and an excellent example.

The mahogany seat displays beautifully and is shaped perfectly to provide a comfortable place to rest. The seat rides upon a quad of simply turned legs with semi-bobbin foot, which are united by an H-stretcher.

At 47cm height the mid-stool design is ideal for painting and the stretcher offers a useful footrest.

An excellent example of English country craftsmanship in robust condition.
