Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
It has a fully glazed door and glazed side panels. It has a quarter veneered back panel.

The 8" dial is in pristine condition with black Roman numerals, brass bezel and fleur-de-lis motifs.
It has a subsiduary seconds dial and carries the "GB" motif, this being clearly embossed on the movement also.

The brass weights and pendulum are in nice condition and the clock retains it's original winding key.
The 8 day movement strikes on the half-hour and the hour and has just been fully overhauled and serviced by a registered BHI member.
