The box is made from English Sterling silver and stands on four very elegant cabriole legs.
The shell in turn is inlaid with an attractive silver pique decoration.
The lid fits well, the hinge works perfectly and the interior is lined in an attractive blue silk. The box is hallmarked for London 1906, making this a true Edwardian example.
Excellent condition, measuring 2 1/2" x 1 7/8" x 1 5/8" tall.
