Grand Antique English Antler Horn & Sterling Silver Magnifying Glass

Description

An impressive large magnifying glass the handle being made from English or Scottish Antler horn, comfortable and tactile to hold; and looks wonderful on the desk-top.

The ferrule and tip are both made from sterling silver, hallmarked for Sheffield 1906, a true Edwardian example. The tip with it's fluted design surrounds a circular cartouche on both sides which could be engraved by your silversmith should you wish to personalize.

The nickel rimmed glass is of course new (by Hilkinson), making it perfect, most usable with a good magnification. A stunning desk-top accessory in excellent condition.

Measures 10 3/4" in length with glass diameter of 4 1/2", a grand scales sure to impress.
