Description

Knotted-pile bags of the Shahsevan tribes are rare and here we have an excellent example of piled Shahsevan work made around 1880. The wool quality is superb - soft and lustrous in glorious vegetable colours - and the bag is complete with its original selvedges and flatwoven back.

Size: 51cm x 48cm (1' 8" x 1' 7").
