A Georgian 5 Plank Oak & Elm Coffer

The chest is made in planks of solid Oak and Elm, the front of the coffer has two oak panels with carved mouldings. The Oak top has a moulded edge, the sides are solid Elm with peg style legs cut into the wood

The Coffer has a waxed finish; it has strap hinges and a blacksmith made lock and clasp but there is no key

This is a very old piece it has a good colour and is in good condition for its years

The coffer is 41” long, 16” deep and 25” high
