Description

The creme de la creme of desk-top postage scales signed by the most famous of makers, Mordan & Co., London.

This one is quite outstanding, the quality is exceptional and it's decorative appeal, just wonderful having been incredibly hand engraved all over.

The weights are original to the scale and sit in their (engraved) holder to the front and even each weight is decorated around the edge.

Victorian in era, around 1880, they don't come better than this. Superb condition, measuring 8 3/4" x 4 3/4" x 6 1/4" tall.
