Vintage 1.50 Carat Old Pear Cut Diamond Solitaire Ring, Circa 1930

Description

An amazing old pear cut diamond solitaire ring, set with a GIA graded - I colour, VS2 clarity - centre stone. The unusually elongated pear - measuring nearly 11mm long - give the diamond considerable presence on the finger. It is secured in a platinum collet with a 'V' claw at the tip and two sets of double claws at the back, above a slim and unfussy 18k yellow gold shank.

Accompanied by a GIA Natural Diamond Grading Report.

Cut:  Old pear cut.

Colour:  I.

Clarity:  VS2.

Carat:  1.50.

Circa:  1930.

Size:  M (UK) or 6 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:  The diamond is 10.88 x 5.89mm. Sits 6.5mm from the finger.

Weight:  4.14 grams.

Metal:  18k yellow gold and platinum. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
