Description:
This mid-size antique coffee table has been adapted from a larger / taller table, in order to serve at a coffee table height and size for modern living. The rectangular antique coffee table measures 3ft 6” wide by 1ft 8” deep. The antique mahogany low table comprises a square-edge solid mahogany top, above a straight frieze, which incorporates a single flush working storage drawer. The drawer is constructed with oak drawer linings and fine hand-dovetailed joints. The drawer retains the original turned mahogany knobs and brass lever lock, with original working key, which allows you to lock items away. The rectangular mahogany coffee table is raised on four mahogany tapered legs, decorated with fine reed moulding. This refined antique coffee table has been constructed in the traditional manner, with mortice and tenon joints. It is solid in joint and ready to use. This Georgian coffee table displays a dark rich mahogany colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour patination which can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

This Georgian 18th century mahogany coffee table, would look good in either a traditional or contemporary setting, for as an occasional table / centre table which radiates timeless character and charm. It would certainly grace any home or office and is a great investment as it is extremely functional.

This is a fine quality antique English Georgian mahogany coffee table, featuring a central lockable drawer, measuring 3ft 7” wide, circa 1800, in excellent condition. The antique Georgian coffee table been adapted from a larger / taller table, in order to serve at a coffee table height and size. There are no breaks to the frame or legs. The storage drawer is in good working order and closes flush to the frame. Nominal old use marks to the top and leading edges, but nothing significant considering its age. As this mid-size antique mahogany coffee table boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic rich mahogany colour and patination. It is well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
