A bronze submarine steaming light by William McGeoch and Co Ltd, circa 1945.

A bronze steaming light used on HMS Andrew P423, Amphion class submarine, built by Vickers Armstrong, launched 6th April 1946.

Marked with Admiralty pattern numbers: AP.8144 and AP.8145

With trademark of William McGeoch and Co Ltd, of Birmingham & Glasgow.

Height: 40.5 cm.

Diameter: 17.5 cm.

Mounted on a display stand: 18 x 18 cm.
