Antique 20th century Edwardian bureau in golden oak, a beautifully proportioned and highly practical piece that combines classic period styling with plenty of character.

Very well made and of good quality, this attractive bureau offers a useful writing space together with generous storage, making it ideal for a study, living room or hallway.

The fall-front opens to reveal a beautifully fitted interior, thoughtfully arranged with a selection of compartments and smaller storage areas for stationery, correspondence and everyday essentials. Beneath are two useful drawers, both retaining their original decorative handles, while the bureau also comes complete with a key.

Raised on elegant turned legs united by a supporting stretcher, the bureau has a graceful and well-balanced appearance. The golden oak displays gorgeous natural grain and a wonderfully warm colour throughout, adding depth and character while beautifully complementing its traditional Edwardian design.
