102.2 x 71.5cm (40 1/4 x 28 1/8in).

A very nice original early 19th century painting by a follower of Thomas Barker of Bath 1769-1847. The painting depicts a lone woodcutter smoking his pipe and with his dog in a rural winter landscape. Unsigned, but of excellent quality.

Condition: The painting has been relined to a high standard. In very good condition overall. Presented in a decent gilt frame, which has a few small areas of loss.
