Description

A set of three esrly 19thc Staffordshire porcelain plates decorated with an oriental theme of a vase and flowers in bright Imari colours of red, dark blue, gold with some pink and cornflower blue. The rims are scalloped and gilded. The plates were probably part of a dessert service. There are no marks beneath but the style is typical of a factory like Davenport. All three are in exceptionally good condition, no hairlines or chips and no apparent wear.
