Description

This beautiful antique flask, cup and pill box in one which is made of French silver is made by Tonnel of Paris, has a stylish glass body and is nicely monogrammed to the lid and cup with the original owner's initials.

This 19th century flask has a French silver screw on top with an inner cork fitted and is unusual as it's detachable French silver cup has a lower removable section in where you would store your pills. The silver plate is gilded with some wear to this gilt now showing.

A fine quality antique that looks wonderful on display and would make a lovely gift. A rare and unusual item.

Material: Glass. French Silver.

Date: Late 19th century.

Marked: Marked with the French Minerva mark for French silver. Tonnel Paris.

Dimensions: Diameter at widest part: 4 cm (1 1/2"). Height: 12.5 cm (5").

Weight: 162 grams.

Condition: Very good used antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Glass is in perfect condition with no chips or breaks. New cork seal has been fitted so seals well with no leaks. Some light surface scratches and marks to the silver plate cup. A slight flat spot to the top and some wear to the gilt. Please see pictures.
