The dark polished hardwood frame features an attractive open-back construction with shaped supports, turned front legs and original-style castors, giving the piece an elegant yet substantial appearance.
The chair is upholstered in a traditional green and gold checked fabric, finished with decorative braided trim around the edges. The combination of the rich dark timber and soft green upholstery gives it a particularly attractive period look.
