Antique 20th century Jacobean style bureau in oak, a handsome and well-proportioned piece that combines traditional craftsmanship with excellent practicality.

Very well made and of good quality, this attractive bureau reflects the bold character of Jacobean-inspired furniture while offering generous storage and an elegant writing space.

The fall-front opens to reveal a neatly fitted interior, thoughtfully arranged with a selection of compartments and small drawers, providing an ideal space for organising stationery and correspondence. Beneath are five drawers, arranged as two smaller drawers above three larger graduating drawers, each decorated with attractive geometric panel designs that enhance the distinctive character of the piece.

The bureau retains a key and stands on traditional bracket feet, giving it a sturdy and well-balanced appearance.

The oak displays gorgeous natural grain and a rich, warm colour throughout, complementing the decorative drawer fronts and adding plenty of depth and character.
