D & J Hunt Antiques has dated this Victorian Pine Knockdown Wardrobe to the Victorian era.

The wardrobe would look well in an old or modern property in a large bedroom amongst similar antique pine furniture for storage. Its main attribute is that it does knockdown into many pieces enabling it to go up 100% of staircases. It is simple for you to put together using wooden chucks.

The wardrobe stands on square back legs and round turned front bun feet supporting the main section. There are two large drawers. The drawers have round turned wooden knobs, dovetail joints and are pine lined. There are two large doors. Each door has one panel with a moulding around the edge. Behind the doors there are shelves. The shelves are not fixed so more could be placed in if required. A hanging rail could be placed inside as the internal depth is a huge 52cm. There is a key to lock the doors. The top has a standard graduated cornice. The sides have fluted columns and carved corbles.
The height is 193cm, the width is 158cm and the depth is 65cm. The internal depth is 52cm.
